Dominic Goodman
Founder & CEO/CFO, Engineer
Dominic Goodman is the dynamic CEO and founder of Versatile Records and Versatile Minds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and underserved communities through the transformative power of music, mentorship, and creative expression.
Driven by a deep belief in the healing and unifying force of music, Dominic founded Versatile Minds with a mission to provide access, education, and opportunity to aspiring artists who might otherwise be overlooked.
Dominic is a passionate speaker and advocate for creative equity, and has worked in non-profit over the last 5 years of his professional career. Dominic has holds a triple bachelors of science degree in human resource management, accounting and business management from Dickinson State University and an M.H.A (Master in Healthcare Administration) from Purdue University Global.
With a background in music production (Engineering, songwriting), and youth mentorship, Dominic brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and social purpose to his leadership. He recognized early on that many gifted young creatives lacked the resources, guidance, or exposure to take their craft to the next level. In response, he built a platform that goes beyond recording—it nurtures potential, instills confidence, and opens doors.
With over a decade of experience in engineering Afro, dancehall, RNB and hip-hop music, Dominic has collaborated with and engineered for diverse array of artists, including Davis D, Kenny Sol, Shine 242, Johnny Cake, Camidoh, Neyo Basko, MacTay Livinn, and Abbyyy just to name a few and other known producers and engineers such as Eleeeh, Donzizi, Iyzo Pro, and has delivered high-quality recordings that resonate with authenticity and clarity.
